Looking over Malataja and Pico de Tres Mares

This is the village of Malataja, on the way to Bustidono, a small village about 2/3 hours away from Santander in Cantabria. Overlooking the village is the Pico de Tres Mares (Peak of 3 Seas). This region is deep in the heart of Cantabria, far away from all civilization. Locals like to call it "Cantabria Profunda". The house and the surrounding area is so peaceful, you cannot hear a single car or any other remnents of a city. From the hustle bustle of New York, constant attachment to cellphones and the internet, it felt very freeing to not have any of it around. Once you get here, you will never want to leave....

Projects

The Tattoo Project
In this project, I have tried to take portraits of people with their tattoos, proudly showing the part the tattoos play in their lives.

Bangladesh
My country gets a lot of bad rep, and the only news you hear about it are about floods, cyclones, tragedies, political turmoil, etc. Its not what I remember growing up. I wanted to show a country that has so much more to offer than the sum of its statistics.
